Tiger salamander feeding 
So my tigers have been doing great and are growing great, but they seem to favor crickets a lot more than worms. I have been using red worms, which I here can be quite smelly to the salamanders when you cut them so I think that is why it takes them awhile to eat them. What I am wondering is if there is a better, different worm that wont smell so bad when cut, or if there is some trick to make them not smelly (rinse in water before feeding...?) They will take the crickets from me in a heart beat and will actually jump at my hand when it enters the tank :) I have been dusting the crickets with calcium every once in a while, is this ok? They don’t seem to notice at all! Also on average how much do you feed your salamanders? They are real beggars, it’s difficult to judge how much they really need to how much they want :) Thanks for any advice!

they dont smell when you cut them, I feed every 2 to 3 days

Im not sure how to explain how much I feed, I just eye them up tell i can tell their bellies are full, or they aren’t interested in food anymore really
