could they live with my turtle in the same cage?also do fire bellied newts make good pets and like being handled?

Dont like to be handled and ABSOLUTELY NOT TO BE kept with turtles.

The poison will kill the turtle and the turtle would prabably try to eat it... than the turtle would still die

i second reptile’s post.

absolutely can NOT be kept with turtles, under any circumstances. they will kill each other.
amphibians have lots of toxins in their skin.

and they can’t be handled because it hurts their skin, but they don’t like it anyway. they’ll jump right out of your hands no matter how hard you try to keep them still.

and the salts ans oils in your skin can give them diseases or dry them up.

AND if one had salamanela the other would get it to.(this could be with ANY disease)

There not the best with being played with, but it is cool to watch them swim in a sink filled with water.
You must remember that before getting one ask your self if you ll still love it and care for it after many years, they can get to be 25-75 yars old. I had my fbn for 7 years.

mine didn’t eat for a month. what did he eat beforehand? they’re more likely to eat something that they’ve eaten before..
try bloodworms.
