 What does it eat?

I have a pet lizard but i dont know what type,my mom told me that its a salamander but I am not too sure. so that you know it is a baby, it is about 2 or 3 inches long, it is black with a curvy yellow streak down its back. does anyone know what it eats?

hmmm maybe a long-toed salamander?

keep him in a terrestrial set-up, with fertilizer/pesticide free soil(or eco earth from a pet store) as a substrate with multiple hiding places and a SHALLOW water dish that is easy to get in and out of

you can feed him many things, earthworms, woodlice/pill bugs, spiders, crickets, any soft bodied insect that will fit in it’s mouth
