I’ve just recently purchased 2 fire-bellied newts from my local petstore. It’s has been about a month and on 1 of my newts, 2 small fuzzy white spots appeared (1 on his back by his tail and the other another on it’s bottom between his hind legs). In addition to that one of his eyes has become cloudy whereas they have both been clear and alert when I first brought him home. He is still eating very well and always on the move but this growth is worrying me. Do you have any idea what this could be and what I could do to get rid of it? Thanks for your help.
