 Question, if I may

I have an extra 36"Lx12"D18"H aquarium. I had 2 of these and I turned one into a Green Tree Frog home. Now, I want to turn the other one into a 50/50 land/water home for a Salamander or Newt. Anyone give me some ideas as to which ones require the 50/50 setup?

Thanks!

I once had my 55gal setup as a 3/4 water 1/4 land and the firebelly newts really enjoyed that. Now they are in 100% water.

 Question, if I may

Thanks everyone. And boy Newt, you are all over the forums, with many answers. By the way, I found an MHD breeder a few hundred miles from me. =) Which is good, because I’m in Canada and most places in the US I found do not ship over borders, and the ones that did, required a minimum purchase of $500-$1000. Crazy huh?

Thats INSANE, good thing you found a breeder. It will help lower the parasite risk and such. When you get it let me know I would love to see it.

 Question, if I may

I will. Will be about 2-3 months before I get it. I can’t wait - will be building the enclosure soon. And yes, very crazy.. I buy a lot of supplies from US companies, because it works out cheaper to have them shipped here then local petshops (Except common things), but live animals/feeders is a fortune.

I’ll post pics, by then I’ll have purchased a new USB cable for my camera to upload pictures.

Cool, yeah feeders they get alittle expensive after a while. If I were you I’ld breed mealies/ supers (they are good staples), its pretty easy and cheap.

 Question, if I may

I thought about breeding Lobster Roaches for my Dragons, but, no where in Canada sells them (or that I can find). So I thought about breeding crickets, but unsure as to how.

If you have setups and can explain it willow, please do. =)
