 Help

Ok, I have a Fish and Lep. One is land and one is Water. So, I was looking at Newts and how easy they are to take care for. Plus their land and water animal. Do they try to escape alot? Do they jump? Would a 10 gallon be fine for one?

They don’t really try to escape, but sometimes they just like to stick to the glass and try climbing. As long as they have a secure lid on top they should be fine. They don’t really jump, they can get scared and wiggle out of your hands though, especially bigger ones like paddle tails. A ten gallon would be fine for some fire bellies or eastern newts I think, maybe california newts or paddle tails. Just be sure not to mix species because some of the bigger ones like to pick on the little guys.
