 Is it pregnant? emporor (pics)

Hi, I have 2 emperor’s I was told one was male and one was female when we got them.. They are not mine they belong to my ex we got them for him for a present a couple years ago. I got to looking at them today and one is really fat while the other one is still really skinny.. I took pics of them both so maybe someone can tell me if she looks pregnant. I dont know anything about them and I will not touch them.. the most i do is give them water. i wasnt sure how to post the pics on here and didnt know if i would have time to check back on here much.. but really need to know if its pregnant so i can tell him he has to take them..I have pics of the one i think is pregnant and pics of the other one that is not. I dont know if i posted the pics right or not though..

that one is a side view and if you look close to its front leg it looks like something on its side kinda hard to see on this pic but the orginalpic is bigger and can see it better

I am looking for an emporer scorpion mine is also real fat but has no hubby lol I don’t know if i have a female or male but would like to get a friend for her. I do handle mine and they seem to be quite friendly lol. Please let me know where I can purchase another one of these fine fellows and how I can tell if it is a female or male.

shes not more aggresive but the male has gotten more aggresive.. and when i water them or mess with the cage any he runs to her and lays on top of her or pushes her back under the rock. i havnt noticed if she is more aggresive she dont really come out from under the rock much and when she does if i go over there she goes back under it. how long are scorpions pregnant for? like i said these are not mine and i dont know anything about scorpions.

it took about 3 months for Cheza to give birth

their is a wide range in the amount of time it takes for them to give birth

I am guessing she is pregnant. When my scorpa got pregnant, she got sluggish, she got pretty aggressive, and she was fatter. After a few months, she had about 20 babies. Sadly, everyone of them died.

Yes! my scorpion is prenant to.she is a lot smaller and fater then my boy one.

looks like there is a good chance she is pregnant. i bought an emperor. she looked pregnant when i bought her. it took her about 8 months to give birth.
my advice(for whatever it is worth) is to separate the two adults, make sure she has a constant supply of food available(otherwise she might eat some babies), and try to limit stress(i covered the outside of her cage,so she wouldn’t see as much outside movement). hypothetically speaking, when the babies are born, leave them with the mother.

our emporer scorpion has just had babies on the 14th june she had 25 babies we are selling them for £10 each but we live in hartlepool england

to tell if you have a male or female you need to look under its belly you will see 2 fin like things if they are big and go to the sides then they are male if small and don’t quite reach the sides its a girl
