First of all, you should have a screen on the cage. But anyway... Is anyone who lives with you allergic? If so I’d get them away. If you know where it is, then just take a bowl or something and put it over it. Then slide some card board or something under the bowl and put him in his tank. If you don’t know where it is, then I would very, carefully tear the house apart looking for him and THEN take a bowl or something and put it over it. I really hope you get your scorpion back in his tank unharmed, GOOD LUCK!
(I’m sorry, if it’s a her and I’m calling it a him. I have a guy [i think] so I’m used to calling it a him.)

I hope i do to. When i looked in his tank my heart stopped and everything aroundme got quiet. No one in my family is alergic to bees so there is good chance that they arn’t alergic.I hope i find it soon or it could die in the next few days. My mom said if she finds it, it better run for its life. I have a blanket under my door so it can’t get out of my room if it hasn’t already. Why can’t i just pick it up by hand if i find it. The girl at the pet store said that it couldn’t crawl up the walls i dont think it did i think it used its pincher but i am disappointed it escaped and i hope i find it soon any more segestions on how to capture it sooner

Wait... they can’t climb walls. Are you sure it’s not just burrowing? And the reason I said to put something over it is because, if it sees you it’s gonna RUN! It’s just easier the other way.

Ditzzy, if u want to know whether ur P. imperater is male or female, check at its pectin’s or "fans" large are females small are males if im correct i kno mines a male.
these are located under the stomach and if u see it during the evening on the side of the glass then look at there size, and or if ur an experienced holder then u can pick it up and let it walk on ur hand, BUT ONLY IF UR EXPERIENCED.

You can pick it up even if you’re not experienced. I picked mine up in the petstore and another time just last week. I’m talking about how freakin’, fast and slippery they are.

I’m just wondering, exactly, WHEN are you considered "experienced" enough to hold them. If you DON’T hold them, then you never WILL get experienced.

oh yeah lol, i forgot all about his lil buddy. try to look for any Small areas of which it can hide in or around and later in the evening check ur room because of the fact that scorpions are nocturnal.

check under everything in the enclosure, and sift through the substrate as they can burrow deep, maybe burrow colapse. then try to borrow/buy a black light(dark uv lamp, counterfeit money checker), turn all lights out and close curtains etc... check slowly and carefully every crevice and hole under everything, behind everything etc.... the benefits of using black lights is that it turns a black insect(very camouflage in corners and dark spot) into a glowing green thing, very cool looking as well as showing him up easily as nothign else will look the same.
