 Theres like 20 of them!!

I need help knowing what to do next. my emp. scorpion just had her baby’s wail I was at school and there is a lot of them! I’m not sure what I should do. How long should they stay with the mother? and is there something i should be feeding them besides crickets?

well u need to do is feed the mom way more crickets because she has to food the baby’s and when they start walking around and killing things then to prevent them killing each other u need to separate them

i dont know how long it takes just when they start walking around and kill thing things so. and i dont think she will eat them but when they start walking around they will eat each other

well how elaborate does the babies cages have to be? because it took a good 300$ for the mothers cage. can i put them in tuba-wear containers (with holes)?

Congrats on the scorplings!!! Im looking forward to a batch of emperors at the end of the year-ish, and probably in may I will have a batch of Hottentotta Judacius. Im going to be getting a breeding pair with a very gravid female in a couple weeks.

Good luck to you with the ones on the way FordGT! and thanks for the info. everyone.
i feel much more confident in taking care of them now, thanks to your guy’s help.
but i had one last question?, i know it sounds cold but how many can i expect to live to adulthood( or till i have to separate them)? Because i was out buying the containers when i realized i didn’t know how many to expect to live. There’s approximately 20-22 of them in all right now at 4 days old.

well i just had my second batch of rusty thick tails. the first time only lost one and that was because i didnt separate them fast enough. this time i havent lost any so far. just keep them well fed and you should be good to go.

$300 for the mothers cage that is like outrageous i didn’t even spend nearly as much as that. maybe around $60 including my two emps
