I’ve looked and I cannot find the ID for this species. The little guy is about and inch long and was found in Brewster, Washington.

 ID?

I had asked what it was on the ATS forums and they said it was no desert hairy. I live in Washington so I doubt theres any desert hairys up here. They said that it could be an Paruroctonus boreus or a H. spadix, But it looks nothing like those two. Its carapace is different in color and has a light purple on it. Oh yeah and what are they doing when they stand up on all there legs and there tail is in position like there going to kill? Mine has been doing that for several hours...

I’ve seen both adults and young from this species. They all have that distinct light purple carapace.
