 My Emperor, eating a piece of raw pork...

My b/f threw in a piece of raw pork to see if he would eat it and he did.
He ignored his cricket. I took the pork off him which he was not too happy about because I’m worried it might harm him.
Anyone know please or is it ok for them to eat ’other’ things ?

well they do eat a variety of animals, crickets, mealworms, roaches, mice (pinkie or fuzzy), termites, but i dont know about raw pork, i dont see why it would harm it tho, its meat lol, mine only eats what moves so i dunno if itwould harm him, but hey, if he is alive then i guess its ok

I thought I would experiment so gave him a cm square piece of pork with a tint sliver of fat attched to it.
He took it out of my hand and actually ran off to his favourite spot, munching away to his hearts content and no way was he for letting it go. He ate about 3/4 of it and looks as happy as Larry but not quite as happy as the cricket that survived!

I wouldn’t make a habit of it, especially because of the fat content but it was interesting to watch him eat it.
