Full Spectrum Lighting - Dangerous Or Not?!
I’m currently putting together a terrarium setup to get me a couple emperators. I’ve read countless articles and care sheets for them, and took notes on just about every aspect. The one I’m having a bit of conflict on is the "lighting". Apparently, UV lighting is "hazardous" to scorps, will cause stress and "ultimetely" lead to death. I’ve also read articles that describe how the light spectrum works. From what I understand, all lighting plays a role on the UV spectrum. UVA stimulates plant growth. I’m planning to use plants, so my question is this: How much lighting would be ok to use to for plant photosynthesis? 5.0% I know would be too much, so will 2.0% full spectrum be ok??? Anyone, please advise... |
