 What Kind of Scorpion

Hi, I am new to this site and have a question. Today I got a 120 Gallon aquarium. The guy I got it from had a rattlesnake in it. When we where cleaning it out we found a scorpion in it. The guy used to live in arizona and said it probley came from over there. The scorpion is 1 to 1 and a half inches.

yeah, all of them are venomous, but most are not deadly.
Out of all the scorpion species, only a handful are potent in venom and those I believe you need a license to obtain.
The majority of scorpions have a sting similar to a hornet’s.
However, if you have an allergic reaction to the venom you may be in trouble.

correct Dualll, all species are venomous as stated. but only a select few will "leave you in the bed" one of the most commonly known in the U.S. is the bark scorpion. But not all carry neurotoxic venom, in fact Hemiscorpius lepturus. possesses cytotoxic venom.
