How many in 29g

i had my emperor scorpion for over 2 years in a ten gallon tank... i have a lizard in a 29 gallon tank and i need a bigger tank for him.... so im putting my scorpion in a 29 gallon tank and i was wondering how many scorpions can i have? or is it safer to only get one more.... the one i have now is female and im hoping to get a male.

I have 2 emp’s in a 25gallon, i hear that 5 gallon is a good size for one, add 5 gallon for every other one, so about 6 could fit in there lol

if i had 6, which would be awesome, they would fight and kill each other (male vs male) over the females, then there would a hole lot of eggs... but thanx, i think i have the info i needed

that is a good observation but a lot of people have kept emperor scorpions successfully together in a communal setup. I think you have an emp, but yeah, most of the time it works out.

oh, well i got my emp as an adult and i had it for 2 years now... so i might not have her very long now but i think 2 should be good just incase my scorpion becomes prego....

well, if you’ve had ur scorp for 2 years and without a mate, it’s safe to say it’s not pregnant.
It of course, is always risky to have many scorpions in an enclosure.
Best thing to do if you want a communal setup is go to the pet store and buy the scorpions they have living together in the group. Then house those together as they are familiar with each other.
