Saw a very skinny female (compared to the obese one I was getting used too) So I decided to dig up the whole cage and here’s what I found!!

Yea, sometimes they dive in, it’s crazy. they can be very slick while trying to capture them as well just disapearring practically in front of you

i know the person that had these and he already sold them all.

also your 5 lined skink is not lonely. they do not have human emotions and do not need to have other skinks with them to keep them company.

you should not mix species either. i assume when you posted that your 5 lined skink was lonely and you would take great care of one of his baby skink, that you were planning on putting the baby skink in with your 5 lined.

yes,i wasn’t trying to mix species, my lizard wont eat and i thought if it had a friend,it’d feel more comfortable.I would NEVER mix species.My lizard is only a baby.

We brought home 2 skinks about 2 weeks ago and found 9 in the tank last night, talk about a surprise! I know that I will need to find new homes for the babies, but I’m not sure when. I thought maybe as you had some babies you might know. How old should they be before finding new homes, and if I have to ship them, how do I do it properly for thier safety?
