why isnt he allowed to buy anything for it. slugs, worms, fruit and veg, catapillars, grasshoppers. the diet should include a small amount of fresh fruit and veg, mainly fruit. fluffy’s, cat and dog food. snails, slugs and worms should be given as a treat once a week. hope this helps, if any problems occur then contact me

If a person isnt able to provide the animal with a proper diet, then they shouldnt have the animal.

The diet should be about 60% Greens and Veggies, 50% Meats, and 10% fruits. Fruits should not make up the majority. If anything, leave out the fruits and just feed the veggies and meats.

Snails, slugs, worms are all excellent feeders and can be feed as a staple. Snails are an excellent feeder and is very healthy. A Large part of the wild BTS diet is composed of snails.

Your info was the best but 60% 50% and 10% add up to 120%? Also you should know how much help that site is!

I forgot to say, snails slugs and worms are great for BTS. Snails are the best though because they have both meat and calcium in the shells. I know someone else said this but I am just repeating it.

Can a BTS still get calcium from a snail shell even though it dosen’t eat it, or do most blue toungues eat the snail shell and all? It’s just that this one dosen’t eat the shell.
