Mouth rot  Sometimes yes, sometimes no. If in doubt, you mght want to. The thing is, moth rot in and of itself is often a symptom of something deeper going on. If it’s just an external infection that hit a scratch or something, it can be elimainated with a Betadine solution. If it’s something that got into the bloodtream and the gum is just the only place that it’s manifested externally so far, that’s a bigger deal. Treating the symptom in and of itself isn’t usually that hard. You just keep swabbing at it with a Q-tip dipped in warm water that has Betadine dissolved into a solution the coor of weak tea. Since it’s usually just in the lip area you don’t even need to actually force the mouth open. Do this after the lizard has eaten, obviously...
