Look what I did! (DUW)

I felt bad leaving the rats in their room all the time (silly I know) so I converted my bedroom closet into a mini rat play room for times when I’m in my room. Now they can come with me (^_^) They still get time in their own room, though lol.
This took about 4 hours. I had a before photo of my closet...it was BAD, but my camera likes to wipe it’s memory lately...lost an entire camping trip because of that...so no before pics =(

In the mini play room there is: lots of toys, Patch’s blanket for burrowing, two igloos, three shelves, a ladder, a climbing "rope" from one shelf to another, a bridge, a hammock, more climbing "ropes", some boxes, some stuffed animals from the pet room originally, and hidden all over is some dog food. Oh, and of course some of my things. I get three shelves too lol. They LOVE it lol.

Lol Taller gate is right! I was watching TV while the rats happily hopped about and next thing I know I see Patch making a dash for my bed and in seconds he’s in my face lol. He loooves my bed.
Plus my cat won’t stay out of there. Since he’s teething he likes to collect cloth materials and those blankets on the small shelves are as good as gold to him apparently. I might need to just replace the door with a screen door =P
That’d be kind of neat actually...

Oh my gosh ! Looks like rat heaven,LOL. I converted a closet into a ferret cage once .Be sure and post more pictures of them playing. Lucky rats !

By the way, Alfalfa is due to pop a LOT of babies it looks like any day now! Stay tuned for photos of Patch and Andie’s cousins!

Ah! Don’t tell me that! lol I don’t know if my father will approve D= but he must!
