 Guinea pig food

so i got my stoke victim cavy to eat nutriphase gold. she was eating gerty guinea pig. all my other guinea pigs eat zupreem nature’s promise food, so i know about nutrition. but she WON’T. she will pee on it. i have left her with it after slowly introducing it and she starved herself for a day and a half. if i mix zupreem with something else, she eats what she likes and pees on the rest. i know nutriphase isn’t the greatest because it has bits and alfalfa pellets. but it’s better than gerty. since all she ate was the smaller pellets, the peas, and crunchy bits. can anyone think of a food that would be worth trying. oxbow won’t work. ALL of my pigs hate it. they love oxbow hay though. is there any other healthy brands of food easily available? i buy most of my supplies online...

I reccomend anything Blue Seal. i run Star Gazer Hill rabbitry (www.stargazerhill.com) and give all the bunnies Hutch 17 pellets, wich i recomend to anyone with bunnies, and my brother gives his guinea pig Blue Seal Guinea
Pig pellets. all the animals are in top condition, blue in best.

i looked at mazuri but i believe the protein outweighed the fiber. i may be wrong but i think that is why i didn’t try it. i should try regular nutriphase though. i’ll give her a few weeks with this to get her used to the pellets and some bits since she’s used to them from gerty. but i’ll look at nutriphase’s nutrition facts and ingredients. she’s so fat, i really have to know is there any way ANY one knows to help her lose weight? the vet couldn’t think of anything besides things to help her foot sores.

Also Oxbo Cavy Cuisine is like top of the line for these little ones. My gp loves it. It is so nutritienally good for them.

i’ve tried it. i know it’s really good. but ALL of my pigs not just saku hate it. that one is second to zupreem in my book since it can’t be used for degus. but yeah. she pees on it too. she’s spoiled and insane.
