 Is Silicone Poisonous?

I came home from school today and saw one of my rats biting at the silicone on the corner of the tank(10 gallon with a high rise) and she gets little pieces off and either chews or eats them.

Will she be okay? What can I do to stop her?

i would think it could cause a blockage. unfortunately besides getting her out of the tank, you can’t do all that much to stop it.

maybe you could put some bitter lime gel on the silicone? the spray would just evaporate
