Cute field mouse!
I caught a cute field mouse today. my cat chased it into a hole. i put it in a hamster cage. i put some little hide away things in it, like a hollow rock, and a bowl witha hole cut in it. if i wanted to keep the mouse for a couple days, what shoud i feed it and what should it drink out of? if any one has mice will you post some pictures of them please!! thank you very much.

Cute field mouse! seeds, nuts, veggies. and a water dish. i would say to release it unless it is hurt. if it is an adult or old enough to not need rehabbing there is no reason to keep it and it will just be stressed. please release the poor thing. note i do not recommend that as a diet for pet rats/mice. but for wildies that are to be released and not kept, they will know it better.

Cute field mouse! awesome. i wasn’t trying to sound rude but adults are not gonna like being locked up unless raised from a baby. they’re skittish so it’s like they can’t escape and they get stressed. though wild mice are freakin’ adorable!
