Craaaap 
Now my whole colony is sneezing like crazy. The amoxi capsules came. Should I start dosing ’em all with it?

be very careful and don’t try to play vet. your vet does dosing according to size and weight. i think it would be best to ask your vet’s advice before administering any medicine to any animal. also, what kind of bedding are you using. sorry if you’ve already went over this, i haven’t been on here in months. i know things like pine bedding can give them uri’s. the best to use is aspen or carefresh. just a word of advice, when giving antibiotics to a group of animals, it gives that bacteria a chance to become resistant to those meds. amoxi is a type of penn. so is clavamox. worst case scenerio, your vet might need to do a culture on the bacteria to see what it’s resistant to. i know sometimes infections can be fungal instead of bacterial and in that case antibiotics will not help at all. just make sure you talk with your vet, he probably will tell you to give it to all of them but better safe than sorry. i apologize if i ramble but i’m a vet tech and i’m so used to answering questions that i think i go too much into detail now so i don’t forget to tell a client something.

yeah. i dose mine. uhm. it could be the bedding. carefresh gives mine respiratory issues. change it to paper towels or maybe something like fleece or yesterday’s news. carefresh, shavings, and soft sorbent are all too dusty if they are sneezing.
but if you want to dose, figure out the weight. and the dosage is 10mg/lb 2x a day. you’ll be able to tell if it doesn’t work within the first 2-3 days. if it does work, it will start to by then. it should though. uhm. if you mix it in 25 ml, it’d be 10 mg/ml or 12.5 ml would make it 20mg/ml. if you pm me weights i’d help you if you’re bad with the math. otherwise it isn’t too difficult.
