 Question about guinea pigs...

I have a question about guinea pigs. How long can they be alone for, if you go on vacation??

Maaaybe three days or so, WITH adequately sized feed rack/bowls and water bottles. The cage should also be properly sized, so that it will still stay clean enough until you return home.

 Question about guinea pigs...

i would not leave them for any amount of time without someone checking on them

anything can happen they can soil food or knock a water bottle down somehow and die of thirst

your airconditioning(or heater could brake and they could die from weather conditions

its best to find someone to babysit or someone to go over to your house once a day to check on them

 Question about guinea pigs...

I’d be very careful with leaving any animal alone by itself. Anything can go wrong, and you won’t be there to fix it. Your guinea pig may become ill, and you will not be there. Guinea pigs go downhill fast when they are ill and can easily die. Also, they can run out of hay, and you won’t be able to provide them with veggies (they need veggies for Vitamin C.)

It’s not that hard to just ask a neighbor to feed them and watch over them for a few days. Just give them directions on what to do (and what not to do.)

I recommend Guinea Lynx as a reputable guinea pig care website.
