I let my ferrets out in my bedroom once a day for an hour or 2 and their usually good after that.

Ferrets should be let out to play at least four hours a day.. Or as much as you possibly can. By taking them outside on warm days for little bits of time it will wear them out faster though making them tired since their senses will be working like crazy. Ferrets that dont get out to play enough can become depressed like humans and stop eating, so its best to give them the most attention and play time you can. :D

Ferrets!!
My ferrets have their own room... so they play whenever they want... which is all the time. Ferrets are mini energizer bunnies and should be let out to play every day for as long as possible. Ferrets can get depressed and become destructive to themselves and their cages if they are cooped up for too long. My boys would start attacking the bars of the cage and digging in the corners if I didn’t take them out daily (before they got their room). Some people just let their ferrets have free roam of their houses... I personally wouldn’t recommend this since its almost impossible to ferret proof a whole house and most people have more than just a ferret for a pet.
