 My puppy never stops eating!

Hello! i just got a puppy and i feed him 3 times a day, he’s a pitbull terrier. I feed him a little more than a cup of Purina 1 healthy puppy formula a sesion, but it just seems like he’s an empty hole! I’m feeding him in small portions so he doesn’t stuff it all down and bloat or have an upset stomach. But should i feed him until he just stops eating? What did you guys do with your dogs. He never stops lol

how old is he?

it could be the food
purina is a lower quality food
and foods with less nutrition and poorer ingrediants go through them much quicker and dont fill them as much b/c they are full of alot of junk

plus just like some kids/people they will eat weather they are hungry or not

if you are really concerned i would contact a vet and see what they think

we always gave our pupies full access to food and never had problems with over eating or anything(i do see how bloat could be a concern but that usually only happens with larger dogs and usually only if they eat too fast)

it depends on many things: how old is ur dog, wats it’s gender. ask a relyable vet or ask Petsmart. go to Petsmart.com and email them asking the question. my vet that i think is very good is Banfield.
