HELP! Injured rat :( I was taking my 6 week old rat,Panda, out so i could clean her cage when i noticed something red on her neck. When i looked closer i saw that she had a cut on the front of her neck(throat area)! How could this of happened?! shes by her self right now( i just got her 1 week ago) & The only time shes been any where near my other rat was the other day when i had both of them on my lap, but i was watching them very closely and my resident rat (Daisy) never tried to bite her. What should i do? Please help!

HELP! Injured rat :( cant get a pic- shes to squirmy. I agree that she probably got caught on something in the cage. I dont think she can reach where the cut is to scratch herself. i have all natural bedding( it says allergen free on it) , i havent seen any fleas or anything, and ive never seen her scratch herself. It looks much better than it was yesterday- i can barely see it anymore! she looks fine so i guess ill just let it heal on its own. And ill make sure to check for any sharp edges in her cage. thanks for the help :)
