Major skin irratation from kick off hairs.

Hello,

I’ve had tarantulas and other spiders since I was about 12 (I’m 18 now). I recently got a new chillian rose, and I was handling it, and he kicked off hairs. I knew what this is (as i’ve had many tarantulas before) and it never really irratated me in the slightest. But this time was different, I put him back after as I knew if I inhaled it or got it in my eyes it would be potentually painful.
So I put him back, but about 5 minutes later it started to itch and itch, the next day I woke and it was more of a burning skin irratation, and now actually its getting worse and spreading.

I know this is "part of the trade" as I’ve said, I’m not inexperienced at all. I’ve had spiders ranging from the chilian rose, to salmon pink bird eaters, and this hasn’t happened to me before.

But my question is, is there any lotion I can use? Or methods for treating it.

Thanks a lot guys!

Major skin irratation from kick off hairs.

Antihystimine and Hydrocortisone
The irritation from Chile Rose shouldnt last long, couple of days perhaps but most people are not affected much. If things get worse I’d definitely try the creams and perhaps consult a doctor as you may be having a reaction.
If this happens again, washing thoroughly is recommended and perhaps celotape onto the affected area.

Thanks a lot!!
