How long can Swifts get?
How long can Swifts get? I ,just a few minutes ago, found one on my shoes, in the house, once I got off the bus. I grabbed it and went to the computer. It has bright blue under both jaw bones and some on it’s sides. I read that that’s the colors of a male. His back is brownish-tan. He’s about maybe 3-5 inches(from memory). That’s my best guess. I’ll check later. He didn’t panic at all when he saw me or when I picked him up.But to get to the point, how long do they get? Also, is that the right way to figure out the gender?

Also, is their more than one kind of swift? If so, can you tell me what mine is from the information I have provided. If you can’t, it’s OK. I’ll look it up.

How long can Swifts get? I don’t know how long swifts can get, because I just got one, But yes there are more than one kind. I don’t know how many kinds but 3 of them are: 1) Blue Bellied, mine. 2) Pink. 3) and Emerald. Also, I don’t know where swifts live but I know that they like desert habitats, but I caught mine in California.
