 Swift Bite!

I just wanted to post this for informational purposes..... My male Emerald Swift bit me today! I have never heard of them biting and he never has before, but today I guess was different. I was removing him from the tank to clean it, as I always do, when today he tried to bite me three times..... He only got me one time, but it hurt! It instantly started to bleed, and really bleed. I was not expecting it, he has never tried to before, and I didn’t expect it to hurt that much for such a small lizard. And he wouldn’t let go, I had to rip my hand out of his mouth!

Anyways, here is a picture of the bite!!

Sorry it is out of focus!
It is hard to tell from the picture but it is my whole knuckle and it is all swollen and red!

Oh, he got me good! And he just wouldn’t let go..... I was not expecting it at all, and I think where he got me is what made it hurt and bleed... I almost dropped him too, luckily I didn’t!
