 Leopard tadpoles care

I’m getting some leopard frog tadpoles soon and I think i can help you.

They need at least 3 to 5 inches of water in a 10 gallon tank (it doesn’t need to be a ten gallon tank, i just think it makes them happier ). Plants and hiding spots are great! I have a small pump and filter for the water and a slanted area on the left side so once their froglets they have a place to climb onto and breathe (they loose there gills). Feed them Algae wafers and or frog and tadpole food everyday and remove any food left after (at the most) a day. You can also feed them goldfish flakes and occasionally some yummy lettuce . They don’t need a warming light like reptiles, but you can have a fluorescent flood lamp on around 4 hours a day. They need spring water or water without chlorine like tap water. Keep the water at room tempature 60 F to around 75 F.

Ok, because I’ve had them before, I think I overfed them. They died in three days.

Also, i accidentally made a grammer error on my first post, it says something like "or use water without chlorine like tap water" it should say "use water that as no chlorine, tap water DOES have chlorine so it is bad for the frogs.

From what I’ve read on the forums, it should be fine :) but check the water just to make sure if its ok.
