 What kind of tadpole is this?
Hi I work at a pet store and have recently brought home a tadpole that i thought was a bullfrog tadpole. After doing a little bit more research I figured out that the odd looking "yellow bullfrog tadpole" probably isn’t really a bullfrog. It’s about 3 inches long right now and a centimeter or so wide. It’s head is sort of olive-ish colored with the tail being semi translucent looking with a pale green tint to it and small yellow spots covering most of the body. It also kind of looks like it has extremely small black spots on it’s head. Does anyone have any kind of guess as to what this could be? I can provide pictures if needed. I appreciate any help you can give me.

Ok after doing even MORE research I found out that maybe it is a bullfrog tadpole just a lightly colored one? I’m so confused now are they supposed to have yellow spots? Someone help!

They sound like fire bellied toad tadpoles. I used to have them.

I know it’s not a fire belly, unless it’s one of the worlds biggest lol because it’s head is already bigger than most of the full grown fire bellies i’ve seen. I’m trying to post pictures but the website’s being difficult and not letting me.

what you do is take from your pictures and add it to your photo list then copy the new url and press the image button then paste the url then press end image then post it.
