im going on vacation for a week and my eastern newts and tadpoles cannot come if i put alot of boiled lettuce in with the tadpoles be okay and the newts normally there fine and i put worms in and i thought they ate them but the worms escape through air holes and i can’t make them smaller they won’t eat pellets and i don’t think theres crickets small enough at the pet store and i’v heard something about raw meat or somthing please help i need to now before i leave and im leaving VERY VERY SOON.

See if you can get baby guppies for the newts, they’d be small enough, but you’d have to be lucky to find them in a store. If you can’t find anything for them to last a week, just feed them a little extra before you leave (they usually like bloodworms, fresh or frozen), and they should be fine for that amount of time.
The tadpoles, you might want to find an automatic feeder at the petstore, and just use pellets, and then every day a certain amount will come out to feed them. I’ve never used one, but it seems like a good idea for them.
