 Tadpole wont eat hasnt eaten in days

We just got a tadpole a 4 days ago and have him in a 10gal aquarium with two real small fish.
We have not seen the tadpole eat at all yet. I have tried fish flakes, boiled lettuce, algae tabs…
It mostly sits on the bottom of the tank which I guess is normal. If we get close to it with the fish net to remove the food it swims away vigorously.
It’s a new tank setup so I don’t think there is much algae in the tank… I have tested the water levels and everything looks ok…

Im wondering If he is sick or something…

Any ideas? Should we just leave an algae tab in the water overnight? We have been removing them if he doesn’t eat it right away…

I would just leave the food at least for a few hours, he might just not want to eat with everyone around, and he could be stressed from being in a new environment. Don’t worry too much, as long as he looks healthy and not too thin he should be fine.
