 Need tadpole help ASAP! :)

Hello! I was at work today and we have this large aquatic plant tank. I was putting in some new plants when I found a tadpole! It already has its hindlegs growing in. So, I took him home. He is in a large critter keeper. I have a floating dock with a slope that I will put in there. I de-chlorinated the water (I used extra drops just to be sure). I put in a small submersible filter (fluval brand) that I had in another tank I have for about a few seconds---the suction on it was too strong, pulling the tadpole into it. It looked like he was stressing out so I took the filter out. There is about 3 inches of water. There’s some particles already at the bottom. I know the tadpole’s water has to stay very clean. Maybe I can try netting the particles out?

I hope he’s okay. He is not moving around much currently.

I have tadpole food for him but will also feed him a variety of other things.

I have not had a tadpole since I was little and even then they didn’t live long enough to turn into a frog!
:(

So...any advice will be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!

Oh..He’s moving around a little now. He was probably stressed.

looks like a bullfrog to me too.

Don’t worry if there are some tiny particles floating around, as long as you do regular water changes every few days/once a week it should be fine. Or you could get a smaller filter, I don’t remember what it’s called, but I have a small blue filter I used to use for my critter keeper that was fine with tadpoles and fish.
