Tadpole Refugees
this weekend i was given two very sad looking leopard frog tadpoles. they were the survivors of about 5 tadpoles kept in a Planet Frog tank....way too many for a tank like that. they have been tadpoles for about 16 months. the cage is horrible, really dirty, but i’m afraid to clean it completely because i don’t want to shock them. there is no where for them to hide...they kind of hide under each other. its really braking my heart! everything in the cage is plastic and i would like to offer them something more natural. they are not very active and they are not eating. there is no sign of growth, such as legs or arms but they seem to like to peek out of the water a little and partially stick out of the water. is it possible that they will never grow? the only factor i can think that might have caused this is over crowding of the tank, cool temp and no sunlight....just florescent light. i want to do everything i can to try to help these little guys become happy health adults and give them a good home. i have done some reading on this site about what to do to help them, but was wondering if there was any other ideas out there. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Tadpole Refugees I would just get a 10 gallon for them. It’ll be good when their tadpoles.
And when they morph it would fit them until they grow larger for 2 leopard frogs.
Yeah just put gravel on the bottom and get a filter and some plants.
