i have a new 75 gallon and a custom 4feet by 2 by2 what tegus can live in it

possible a columbian could live in the 4x2x2 but definitely not an argentine. Keep in mind that black and white argentines get 4ft long, chacoans/whiteheads and reds get about 5 ft. The minimum for a tegu is twice the length of the animal long, the length of the animal wide, and I’d say at least 4 feet tall in order to provide enough substrate for a burrow.

Well for one any of the tegu’s should be at least in a cage 6x3x3 and i my self would house any of my tegu’s in a cage8x4x4.

Yeah thats probably the cheapest and better thing to do i bought mine,couldn’t build at the time if i need more cages now i’ll build my self that i have my own house.
