 Tiger ameiva questions

i have a few questions about tiger ameivas (ameiva undulata).


#1 how much should i feed my 10" tiger ameiva daily?

#2how big will a tiger ameiva get?

#3 is it possible to breed them? has anyone here ever kept/bred tiger ameivas. are their any websites that i can buy cb tiger ameivas on?

these are all my questions for now. i might have more later.

P.S. i have read the tiger ameiva care sheet on this site many times. these are the questions i still have that the care sheet did not answer.

thanks that was super helpfull*end sarcastic tone* did you not read my post? i have read that care sheet many times trying to find answers. these questions are not answered on that care sheet. i am asking for someone that has experience with these or someone that knows about a breeder or something to answer these questions. i have also googled for these answers for hours. i cannot find an answer anywhere.

the exact answer depends on your avaible feeders and on the lizard itself.
a good hand full of crickets every day or every other day would suffice (though you dont want to use just crickets) , just pay attention to how much it’s eating at a time and go accordingly.
the largest tiger ameiva I had was around 12-13"
might be able to breed them,closest i had werea couple clutches of eggs but no hatchlings.
if you find a website with cbb tiger ameivas let me know, but i highley doubt it

yeah i am trying to find some cbb ones to attempt to breed jasper with. right now i put in 6-12 crickets every other day and about 8 mealies every 4th day. are giant mealies or large mealies better for them? i read somewhere that the giant mealies have been treated with a chemical to make them bigger. is that true? i see mealworm beetles and some other stage of the mealworm in there too sometimes and he seems to love eating the alien stage of the mealworm. i am going to try and breed mealworms soon. i am trying to find some other bugs for him so he has a nice variety. i will defanently let you know if i ever find a good site that has cbb tiger ameivas. i doubt i will find one tho.

Hmm im not interested in these lizards you speak of...ive been keeping many different large lizards and small but never kept the tiger.....ohh if you need help breeding mealies or tips, just ask, ive been breeding for about a year....on a small scale but its enough to feed my leos, agamas, tegus and hedgehogs :)
