Picked up my 9th tegu today.

Bobby Hill, Varnyard-Herps Inc. Stock.

Great tegu. He hatched this year. Reduced patterns on the head. Flawless holdback.

I named him Odis :P

Hey man nice red tegu,Congratulations, i got one from the same clutch along with a chacoan,and out of all the 13 teen tegus i’ve owned these guys are top notch.Both are mine are super healthy and are males.Once you have one tegu there addictive,i myself owned thirteen,not including the monitors i’ve keep,iguanas,bearded dragons,now just my two tegus from bobby is fine maybe a pair of blues next year.Good luck

ReptoDude, I’m curious on how you keep 9 tegus. Are they housed indoor or outdoors. Do you keep them in groups?

Groups yes. I have three 8’x4’x4’ outdoor cages and a 16’x8’x4’ outdoor pen. During the winter, they all hibernate.

For food, I buy in bulk so it helps with the money shortage.
