How big are hatchling tegus? 
I have a tegu I believe him to be a golden tegu he is 10 inches long! I would really just like to be able to guess his age?! Thank you for your time!

i’d give it 2-3 months round about. consider hatching of the egg at the farm. exporting to the U.S. and being underfed at varius distributors and whatnot until the place you got it recieved it.

Thank you! He is really tame as of right now he lets me hold him with no problems he can be really fast at times lol! He has a water dish with a bubbler in it but he only likes to drink out of my hand or off the ground any one elses lil one do that? He is new to the house we have only hade him since febuary 24th and are still getting used to his feeding schedule not sure when or how many times to feed him daily so I just try two or three times a day.......he eats every day.............his tank is i beliebe a 35 gallon...and he is 10 inches long..........

yeah i handled mine about a half hour ago. she was calm and walking around on me and was just chilling on me. I wasn’t holding onto her and she was just there. my cell phone vibrated above me (i was on th floor) and i looked up to get it and then i heard a slight thud and scratching on the floor. She ran underneath my reptile rack and started climbing and continued to hide behind my guitar cases. Rather than panicking and rushing and making her even more scared I relaxed and started moving stuff and the guitar cases. I then grabbed her and she kept tilting her head side to side looking at me like she was saying "What did I do?" Mine doesn’t seem aggressive but I’ll knock on wood.
