 Ok, so....

here is the run down on what i’m going to do with patches,

i’ve found a loophole in the system lol, if i house patches at the center i am volunteering at, than they pay for everything including food, lighting, everything!!!

I know it sounds wrong but they already said that i could. :)

so what i need help with is:

what are the specific fruits and veggies that reds eat???

and

what are the specific lighting that they need???

thanks alot,
Funkymunky

from what Ive seen, he looks to be a few years old. UVB isn’t a major part of his development anymore. although, it wouldn’t hurt, so have an 8.0 on him, as well as the standard heat lamp/CHE. try strawberries, mangos, grapes, and banana, but not alot, too much potassium isn’t great.

I avoided this post before because the questions you are asking you should have al;ready known before you bought, adopted or "rescued" the tegu you have. If you read through past posts you will have your answers.

in case you didnt notice i asked for "specifics", I know what they need in general, but i was wondering if maybe someone had more success with something different.

and by specific i meant brands and wattage for the lighting, and maybe a solid list on the fruits and veggies.

sorry for the mis-understanding.
