 Unusual eating .. please respond

Alright guys, ive had zeek now for three months, and since then he had been eating 2 mice every monday, wednesday, and friday.

Last week friday, he ate two hoppers and everything was fine. I came in monday tried to feed him and he ignored the mice... went to feed him tuesday again he ignored them, went to feed him wednesday he only ate one of the two and then just now i offered him two and he again only ate one ...

Now idk if hes sick or something, but he just finished a shed this past thursday so exactly a week ago, and hes behavior hasnt changed other than he spends more time on the cooler end of his cage..
Also i watched him deficate yesterday and the waste was just a liquid and a uric acid deposit ... so im baffeled as to why he isnt eating.
Again he is growing at an incredible rate ... about 1cm per week! ... so please any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks again

mike

Is it eating other foods in the same on/off pattern?
Sounds like you’re offering a lot of mice, it might be getting bored with them. Try offering only other food items for a week or so then try the mice again. Variety in the diet is more mentally stimulating than the same repetitive items over and over again.

Loose stools could be from a huge variety of reasons.
If it continues regulalry you may want to have a vet take a look.
I would mix up the diet even more if that’s all you are offering.
