my colombian just died and im really sad but i really like tegu so i was wondering a good site that is cheep and has them or if anyone has one that they r tired of i really want a new one i like colombians and anyy i like a good challange

Bobby (Varnyard) does not work with colombian tegus.
Frankly I’m curious to why your colombian tegu died? (did i miss it in another post?)
I would figure out what went wrong there before even considering adding another teguixin to the imported animal death toll plague (like ameivas,savs,niles,etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc) that has taken over the "pet" trade. Hundreds of thousands of animals are imported each year and only a fraction of a percent make it past the 1 year mark.

I think he was careless? and let his friend step on it? thats what murdered it... im almost positive thats him... in my opinion if you’re the guy that this happened to ... you shouldnt be allowed to purchase another animal, ever.

it was a fing accident and it happened while i was holding it so u can just burn it really messed me up it was an accident and it died in my hand and i take good care of my animals and i dont eat so they can i was in the middle of calling a vet when it died i took good care of him

i wasnt saying you did not take care of him. i was just posting the thread because some people might think you did not take care of him correctly and that is how he died. it was an accident, i could tell that from the post about him dying. the only good breeder i know is varnyard. he is the best but he does not breed columbians.

sorry about your loss and that i came across as blaming you for your tegus death.

Hmm accidents happen peoples.....Just an idea....you might wanna check out agama international......they are really good and will help you with any questions you may have after you buy. I got my little guy from there last year and everything is great. Go checkout some of the animals and prices before you buy. Goodluck

i have heard some good and some bad stuff about agama international.

in my opinion Varnyard herps is the best. he also has his own forum that he runs. if you have any questions you could go there and he would personally help you. there are also many others on that site with tegus that will be able to help.
