Looking into 
i am looking into buying a red tegu from our local pet store. i will be able to provide the right caging and lighting and i’ve been looking into their diet. i hacve experience with lizards right now ihave a mali uromastyx but i have had a chinese water dragon, a chameleon and a bearded dragon. I’ve been looking into them recently, any suggestions about the species?

Ive worked with a few reds, and despite what people have told me i have had fantastic results. The reds that i have worked with are the most docile loving creatures i have dealt with, although they dont reach the size i like (why i stick to mainly b/w) anyway, reds are an interesting species. If i were you i would google some more information about these lizards are their requirements before you make your purchase!
