 Argentine black and white tegu’s

i just got a black and white tegu i have a couple of questions
my baby tegu will only eat rodents i have tried hard boiled eggs,crickets,meal worms,fruit & roaches got any suggestions on haw to get him to eat other stuff
could i feed him a raw egg for a treat hes about 50 cm long with tail

Well have you tried using tongs? Mine hardly touches his boiled eggs when i leave them in thee until i poke it with the tongs i use to get the food out at night. He knows tongs means food. Maybe try offering a small mouse then some crickets right after?
