No dis-respect, but that cage looks horrible. Where is the water bowl, and for an outside cage it looks pretty boreing.

well yes it looks bad esthetically, but functional. that is what matters. i would have gone a little bigger if its permanent. and idk if you put a barrier so he cant dig out or not but you should or you will have an empty cage in no time. i dont see how it is horrible as for functionality though, the ugly walls allow sun to pass through them nicely at all hours. and the ugly base does its job... contain the tegu. and it will be cheap to replace. now paint that beast and make it purdy ;)

Sorry to say, but i agree with the fellas above ... there is no water dish and it does indeed look very boring, and its pretty small... if this is a permanent home for him.

Also, there is no place for the poor guy to dig :/
you are aware they are diggers right?

Sorry to be so blunt, but it has to be done.

There is a water bowl just the pictures that i took you cant see it i am not a dummy i know they need water. and an three feet down in the dirt i laid chicken wire so he cant dig out. i am going to pain the walls and put small plant an branches. i spray in down twice a day for humidity.

Its a shame since your keeping her outdoors that she cant have more space...could you make her enclosure wider towards that tree? I think she would really appreciate the extra room to move.

I definitely would not have used chicken wire .... as your poor tegu could get an apendage caught and severed.. i would advise using ceramic tiles..

i also agree....u shouldve thought more about width then heighth....tegus are diggers, not climbers.....and plus, theres no way he could possibly get up there to use that height to his advantage except the fencing....not putting u down or anything....just tryin to help

Bah, well this is to senior kenny...

Please, like i posted before... you are extremely new to tegus, as you have stated numerous times.
The information/advice you are trying to provide is in good will, but doesnt help.

Your post was unnecessary... this thread had been inactive for almost a week, yet you felt the need to more or less agree with what we had stated above to make the guy feel worse than he probably already does.

Also,

What is that supposed to mean? Your response is unclear and inappropriate.

Sorry for being so snappy, but please ... PLEASE only answer a post if you know what you are talking about, people come on here to get information about their animals ... when they read stuff that is incorrect it could potentially harm/kill there herps, which is one thing i could not bare to hear.

He meant the height isn’t useful to it since they aren’t arboreal but sometimes they’ll climb the fencing.
