 Thinking about getting blue tegu

i have been looking into getting a blue getu but i havent been finding alot of info on the internet so i came here to get info from people who actually own them
will a 6x4x3 lwh be enough to house a adult blue tegu what are the basking temps and humidity and wheres a good place to buy one
how big will a blue get in 6 mo? a year?

From what I’ve heard, blue tegus are getting a little rarer. Not as many people are breeding them, so that may be why you’ve been having trouble finding stuff. I want one as well but as I’ve found more and more, I just couldn’t cover the weekly food costs because of the cost of rodents. I can do crickets no problem.

I have no personal experience but from what I’ve read 6 feet is the minimum, you might wanna spring for 8 which shouldn’t be a big deal if you’re building it yourself.

That’s a care sheet, if you haven’t already looked up any. If you don’t get good responses, look up as many care sheets as you can since info varies sometimes.
