how do u tell if a arg b&w tegu is m or f?

Well, really the only way to tell it to probe them, and this can only be done when they are of age .... about 6 months. (by a vet or some sort of professional... dont do it yourself lol)

thats not true mike. if the tegu is a baby then yes that is the only way. but once the tegu grows to be around 2 feet long and reaches maturity, there are other ways.

here are 2 ways that it has on the top care sheet.
"Male Tegus are larger than females and develop large jowls. They also have ’spurs"

ahh ok i didnt know that. if that is the case and the tegu we are talking about is indeed a baby then yes, probing is the only way to accurately tell if it is male or female. you will have to get it probed or just wait till it is grown up some
