Blues, Albinos, or B&W’s I have been around reptiles all my life, but mainly snakes. I have one blue tongued skink and I am ready for something a little bigger. My wife enjoys interaction with the pets as long as they are docile, so I was curious as to which of the three listed was more predisposed to being docile, obviously each will have own personality traits, just curious if some more than others will "tame" quicker. Any other info like where to buy the tegus would be much appreciated, have seen a couple places but always up for actual experienced buyers. Also any info for a newbie to the Tegu would help, thanks.

well to be honest with you ive had golden tegus...colombian tegus and colombian b&w tegus but nothing beats my argentine black and white tegu. he was the greatest out of all my lizrads and i have went through alot including all types of monitors. as long as u socialize them with bowl feeding and u feed them dead rats instead of live....youll be just fine. my big guy was pushing 4 feet and he was like a puppy so i would go with the argentine black and white tegu

Blues, Albinos, or B&W’s I do agree, ive worked with b/ws, reds, golds, and blues and black and whites are by far the easiest to ’tame’
