2 day old chicks are fine i suppose as long as your tegu and handle them ... also i dont know if i would have fed him two chicks... i probably would have fed the chick along with some raspberries/blueberries with some apples, thats just me though :) And of course your chick can be born with a disease, just as a human could, but like stated previously they are less prone to having disease. The longer they are alive the more prone they are to getting infected with something, its just nature. But yea, overall i wouldnt feed two chicks i would mix it up with fruits and what not |

~OR~ When you need turkey, blah blah watever mix some fruits in there... you people will probably laugh at me BUT What we did with our adult male (now sold), he took fruits, but only occasionally.. so what we did some times was we would take one of our rats, kill it (quickly of course), then take a scalpel, but it open take some apples and whatever put it in the stomach and give him the rat that way. It worked well actually, better than we would have hoped. I think we did it 4 times? and after that he took fruits and even veggies willingly without the ’surgery’ lol But yea :) |
