I agree with KMA, that baby is way way way too skinny... you need to fatten him up.

Also, it may just be the coloring of the picture or the picture itself but that doesnt look like a argentine to me, but maybe its just me

I dont see how any of you can doubt that being an argentine tegu, and yes it looks very underweight. anywho congrats on the new pet, hopefully you can fatten it up.

Well just feed him daily a variety of stuff (one day crickets, another superworms, then roaches and just keep repeating). As a treat you can give him ground turkey dusted with calcium, boiled egg, and even a pinky mouse. I would suggest offering these treats only once every week and maybe even two as your tegu still is very young and its digestive system is not that strong to take meat consistently. I hope this helps.
